About the Role:

The Product Owner II is a key member of the TD Bank team, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of customer-focused product increments. This involves aligning with senior management and other Product Owners to follow a product vision, creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog, managing delivery blockers, and continuously assessing customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Strategic Product Plans: Develop and execute KYC (Know Your Customer) product strategic & planning process to establish priorities and drive change.
  2. Business Capability Management: Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of business capabilities to effectively enable KYC program and to create, execute, and evolve long term Product /Business Capability Roadmaps.
  3. Contribute to Product Group Health: Contributes to the KYC product group health including OKR, maturity measures, financial, capacity, KPIs, and KRIs.
  4. Thought Leadership: Challenge the norm and provide thought leadership in KYC required control solutions which meet regulatory expectations and also deliver the best-in-class customer and colleague experience.
  5. Alignment and Prioritization: Work with senior business leaders to ensure our product capabilities and solutions are functionally aligned with requirements and that a fit for purpose solution is designed, with the support from AVP, KYC Engineering.
  6. Team Mobilization and Alignment: Mobilize teams & ensure alignment, manage interdependencies, prioritize with other partners to achieve value.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Proactive alignment to three lines of defense strategy, and build strong relationships with AML Compliance, LOBs, and other control functions to meet regulatory expectations.
  8. Vendor Governance: Govern vendor services and risks associated with KYC Products.

Requirements:

  1. AML/KYC Expertise: AML/KYC Customer Due Diligence Expert (ACAMS or CAMS certified preferred)
  2. Agile Delivery Experience: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification (Product Owner/Management experience) or Agile delivery experience
  3. Decision Making and Action: Support speed, simplicity, agility in decision making and action
  4. Conflict Resolution and Partnership Building: Conflict resolution, building partnerships and perseverance under pressure/crisis
  5. Technical Expertise: Technologically savvy - demonstrated experience working on technical projects
  6. Customer and Commercial Portfolio Experience: Experience working with customer and/or commercial portfolios
  7. Financial Management: Financial management
  8. Strategy Development: Strategy Development
  9. Business Process Improvement: Business process improvement
  10. Senior-Level Relationship Management: Senior-level relationship management
  11. People Management or Team Development Experience: People management or team development experience is helpful
