Director of Project Management Operations

Woodbine Entertainment Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) as Director of Project Management Operations. This key role will oversee a portfolio of complex capital projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of project managers and coordinators to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee a portfolio of projects with significant scope and complexity, including civil infrastructure, transit infrastructure, interior fit-outs, and renovations.
- Collaborate with project managers, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met and projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Ensure project management discipline is applied throughout the project lifecycle, with appropriate documentation and reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including Authorities Having Jurisdiction and external consultants.
- Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or Construction Management degree, with professional designation preferred.
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in managing complex capital projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand trends and develop recommendations.
- Ability to take a broad, organization-wide view when making decisions and solving problems.
- Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple personalities and stakeholders.
