Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and negotiate contractual agreements with customers and suppliers
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to project teams and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement compliance procedures and policies
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure effective contract management
Requirements:
  • Law degree (LLB, JD) and current membership in a provincial bar association
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial law, preferably in a government or corporate setting
  • Working knowledge of government procurement policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with export control regulations and procedures
