Position Overview

We are currently seeking applications from seasoned professionals in mining engineering, particularly those with a focus on infrastructure development.

Role Summary

This position plays a critical role in the design and advancement of infrastructure systems for our global mining initiatives. The projects encompass both existing and new operations, including underground and open-pit mining.

Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that essential infrastructure—such as transportation routes, water management systems, and electrical distribution—is effectively integrated into our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with various stakeholders to design and implement infrastructure solutions that enhance our global mining initiatives;
  • Develop and refine infrastructure designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements;
  • Offer technical guidance during the planning and execution of infrastructure components for mining projects;
  • Utilize engineering software and methodologies to produce precise and dependable infrastructure models;
  • Conduct site evaluations and due diligence to inform infrastructure planning and design;
  • Stay abreast of advancements in mining infrastructure technology, applying innovative solutions where relevant.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil, Mechanical, or a related discipline);
  • Extensive experience in mining infrastructure design and development, particularly in underground and open-pit environments;
  • Strong understanding of the interplay between mining operations, infrastructure systems, and environmental factors;
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams through various project stages;
  • Significant skills in stakeholder management and a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects;
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and similar tools;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively;
  • Self-sufficient, methodical, and collaborative with a proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects;
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of additional languages such as Russian being an advantage.

Language Requirements

English proficiency is essential (advanced level). Knowledge of another language such as Spanish, French, German, or Italian is considered an asset.

Travel Requirements

Candidates should be prepared for domestic and international travel, approximately 20% of the time, and be comfortable collaborating with colleagues across various time zones.

Eligibility to work in Canada or Australia is required for consideration.
