Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Hazelwood Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our heavy equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Repair and replace parts as needed
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals
Requirements
  • Must possess a Journeyperson's certificate or a Red Seal certification
  • Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
  • 5-10 years' experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Proven mechanical abilities in hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnostics
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
