Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a multi-disciplinary setting, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing respiratory care for clients with various illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to enhance quality of life and promote client-focused care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and advance clinical competence.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering teamwork and a commitment to excellence in client care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration.
  • Valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area.
