Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
  • Current valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area.
