About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at 10001706 MANITOBA INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
    • Load buspans and trays, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, adhering to food safety guidelines.
    Requirements
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
    • Will train on the job, providing opportunities for growth and development.
    • Work Term: Permanent
    • Work Language: English
    • Hours: 40 hours per week
