About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at 10001706 MANITOBA INC. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel and resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
  • Bed Making and Laundry: Make beds and change sheets, as well as launder clothing and household linens.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms, elevators, and other areas to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure our guests' belongings are safely returned.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
