Position Overview:
The role of the Support Worker is to deliver personalized assistance to individuals enrolled in the Community Residential Program at St. Amant. Support Workers engage with clients both in their residences and within the community, providing tailored support based on individual needs.
We offer extensive training to equip Support Workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. While prior experience is valued, we prioritize candidates whose values align with those of our organization.
Employment Type: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Various Shifts
Compensation: $17.57 per hour (with potential for increases post-probation)
Language Requirement: Bilingual (French and English)
*A French language assessment will be conducted during the hiring process.*
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Willingness to participate in all required training, including First Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child & Adult Abuse Registry Checks (within the last 3 months)

Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Support Worker will vary based on the needs of the individuals supported. Duties may include:
