Job Summary:

WRHA Community Health Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Client Care Specialist to join our team. As a Client Care Specialist, you will work under the supervision of the Resource Coordinator to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide basic supportive care, including medication administration and wound care.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care.

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course required.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Position involves extensive physical activity, including lifting and bending.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood and body fluids, and other hazards.
  • Ability to travel between clients in a community area and adapt to changes in scheduling on short notice required.
