Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tony's Fish and Oyster Cafe. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies, securing the best possible deals for the restaurant.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, contributing to the growth and success of the restaurant.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Transportation and Travel: Utilize your own vehicle for business purposes, as required.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities under pressure, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a high level of organization.
