Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of our staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demand.

Train and Develop Staff

Train and develop our staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions and improve our operations.

Scheduling

Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that our staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demand.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant environment.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Schedule

30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
