Job Summary:

The Ocean Freight Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and coordinate the movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Follow up on issues with work orders and ensure resolution in a timely manner
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure accurate and timely delivery
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
