Position Overview

NAGRA ACCOUNTING INC. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for employee payroll.
  • Asset Management: Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee general ledgers and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
  • Reporting: Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns accurately.
  • Trial Balance Preparation: Compile trial balances of books to ensure accuracy.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College or CEGEP program.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
