Position Overview
At Autodesk, our Entertainment & Media Solutions (EMS) team is dedicated to empowering creators globally to produce exceptional digital entertainment. Our innovative tools enable studios and artists to bring to life the enchanting characters, immersive environments, and captivating stories found in the games, shows, and films we cherish.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee comprehensive program execution. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technical Program Management, you will lead implementations for our media and entertainment clientele (Autodesk Flow). You will collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, and Design teams to foster cross-team synergy within EMS, ensuring the successful delivery of intricate technical solutions. Success in this role requires a combination of technical knowledge, business insight, and a strong ability to cultivate relationships across various teams and organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish alignment on cross-organizational initiatives through outcome-focused planning, dependency management, and obstacle resolution.
  • Engage with engineering leadership and teams to formulate clear delivery strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and refine delivery plans throughout program execution, maintaining regular communication with stakeholders regarding progress toward objectives.
  • Collaborate with teams to eliminate obstacles by supporting software development teams with exception handling, managing risk identification, and conducting mitigation analyses to address potential challenges, minimize inefficiencies, optimize delivery, and enhance internal team satisfaction with our delivery processes.
  • Guide Development team program efforts in providing technical solutions from design through to delivery.
  • Drive the automation of delivery processes that span across teams (design, development, and operations) with a focus on transparency and clarity.
  • Promote continuous improvement and our science-based, Kaizen culture by leading change through retrospectives and lessons learned.
  • Communicate program health, initiatives, and achievements to Autodesk teams and divisional leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical program management role or similar capacity within the technology, computer software, or related sectors.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end programs with significant accountability.
  • Experience collaborating directly with software development teams on complex initiatives involving multiple teams in an Agile environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of distributed systems, cloud services, and/or cloud platforms.
  • Experience managing diverse company stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders, product managers, and designers.
  • Proven ability to develop presentations and written communications on program status for various company stakeholders.
  • Capacity to instill a sense of urgency, passion for process, and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Experience utilizing technical tools to scale programs and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of system design and data analytics.
  • Experience leading technical programs for cloud products and platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience in driving program delivery within an Agile framework.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Media and Entertainment sector.
