Key Responsibilities- Provide planning support to accountable Project Managers working with key epidemiology, data generation, and related functional partners.
- Deliver high-quality development schedules/plans based on analytical data, benchmarks, and information from Medicine/Vaccine Development & Medical Teams.
- Build and maintain high-quality project plans in the system, interacting closely with accountable Project Managers and associated functional lines.
- Develop schedules for activities and deliverables for traditional R&D and Medical Projects (all phases: from pre-CS through Phase IV) to an appropriate level of detail that enables evolving business needs.
- Recommend changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects to stakeholders.
- Maintain system data quality by assuring schedule compliance to established business rules, standards, and ways of working, along with accountable Project Managers.
- Build associated schedules to drive Total Project Cost (TPC) forecast estimates, partnering with key stakeholders, including functional Project Managers.
- Develop scenarios and recommend alternatives to current plans, as requested by accountable PMs.
- Build status reports across key project control performance areas: scope and schedule, cost, and resource.
- Run monthly plan quality reports to facilitate alignment across key systems and PM community processes.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical business, drug development, and project management.
- Demonstrated experience in a range of role-essential skills (e.g., data analysis, problem resolution, enterprise-wide project management tools).
- Ability to present data and visualizations in effective ways to audiences at varied levels within an organization.
- Ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets across multiple interdependent studies with multiple stakeholders.
- Natural curiosity and the ability to explore new ideas and interrogate data.
- Associate Degree - Basic Sciences, Clinical, Business operations, Finance, Computer Science.
- Planisware (scheduling software) / Microsoft Project, Excel & Spotfire.
- Bachelor's Degree - Basic Sciences, Clinical, Business operations, Finance, Computer Science.
