About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clients to identify their rehabilitation needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide and recommend adaptive equipment and training to enhance client mobility and independence.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless client care and effective communication.
- Participate in team conferences and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Supervise employees, volunteers, and rehabilitation HCAs to ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of Physiotherapy.
- Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists and the BC College of Physical Therapists in good standing.
- Experience in long-term care is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
