About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in long-term care settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients to identify rehabilitation needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
  • Participate in team conferences and maintain open communication with the care team.
  • Supervise employees, volunteers, and rehabilitation HCAs to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
  • Develop and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in in-service education sessions and communicate with clients, families, and team members about rehabilitation treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Physiotherapy.
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists and the BC College of Physical Therapists in good standing.
  • Experience in long-term care preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
