Job Summary

Surerus Murphy Joint Venture is seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, network protocols, and software applications.
  • Assist with incident management, problem resolution, and change management.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve business processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of IT.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure effective issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure deployment.
  • A+ and Network+ certifications required. Cisco, Microsoft, and IT frameworks certifications are an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience administering systems support for remote sites.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SMTP).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows 10, server 2012, 2019.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 application products and cloud apps.
Working Conditions

This position is office-based and requires travel to project sites.
