Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Escape Adventures Kamloops Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
- Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
- Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
- Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
- Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens.
- General Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
