Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Escape Adventures Kamloops Ltd. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Special Tasks: Wash windows, walls and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks. Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
