About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Escape Adventures Kamloops Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free environment
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
    • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene
    • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Housekeeping and Laundry
    • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and organized workspace
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment
  • Lost and Found and Guest Services
    • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient process
    • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality
    • Repetitive tasks and physically demanding work may be required
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions are essential
    • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking may be required
