Process Engineer

As a Process Engineer at PointClickCare, you will be part of the Service Delivery Management team, driving innovation and modernization in software delivery. This role requires a borderless change agent with a passion for optimizing software delivery performance. You will partner with specialized site reliability and software engineering teams to advise on technology and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead incident prevention, preparedness, and response efforts, promoting a post-mortem culture and ensuring teams learn from failure.
- Design and execute Chaos Engineering activities to enhance incident preparedness among engineering teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements through automation, documentation, training, and reduction.
- Lead the change advisory board, educating and empowering teams to manage their own risks.
- Develop lean processes that empower teams while satisfying compliance and security requirements.
- Participate in on-call and after-hours work as required.
Requirements:
- Computer Science, Engineering, or Business degree or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in system or software engineering, an asset.
- Experience with process modeling.
- Ability to present data visually and creatively.
- Programming and scripting experience.
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings.
- Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, and SRE.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving, process analysis, and root cause identification skills for technology, process, and people-related problems.
- ITIL or COBIT certifications, an asset.
- Project Management, Agile certification, or similar education, an asset.
- Business Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, TOGAF certification, or similar education, an asset.
