Process Engineer

Process Engineer role requires expertise in process engineering with experience in pharmaceutical facilities, industrial process, and chemical plants.

As a Process Engineer, you will:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of process designs and systems for construction, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Prepare process flow and instrumentation diagrams.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering, and construction teams to integrate process engineering solutions into the design, optimizing for efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Compile information for client presentations, shop drawings review, and contract administration for the design of power, process, pipeline, etc.
- Assist with the development of project scope, budget, and schedule for all process-related work.
- Provide onsite construction start-up and commissioning support and perform onsite audits and surveys of the facilities and equipment.
- Work with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop cost estimates and proposals.
- Manage equipment procurement and prepare bid evaluation.
- Manage stakeholder communication, providing clear and concise updates on technical progress and addressing any concerns related to process engineering.
- Research processing engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineering Designation: A P.Eng or equivalent engineering designation is desired.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, specifically in the construction of battery plants or pharmaceutical facilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from preconstruction to completion.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality management, as evidenced by previous work on projects adhering to strict safety guidelines and quality standards.
