Job Title: Occupational Therapist

EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to clients with mental health and addiction issues. This will involve assessing clients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' occupational performance and mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' goals and objectives
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and exposure-based interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and good standing
  • Recent clinical experience working with mental health populations, preferably in a trauma-informed setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong documentation and report writing skills
