Job Title: Registered Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group in Tavistock, Ontario. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping residents of our Long Term Care home achieve their full potential.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your expertise will focus on improving activities of daily living, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans in accordance with College standards
  • Collaborate with the Physiotherapist and Nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care
  • Work with the multi-disciplinary team to make recommendations for interventions and treatments
  • Document progress notes and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and ADP Authorizer
  • Professional License Insurance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in Long Term Care is an asset
  • Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector
