About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Urban Planner to join our team in Vancouver. As an Urban Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our cities and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a wide range of projects, from feasibility studies to community policy initiatives, TOD projects, master plans, and development approvals.
- Lead and support stakeholder engagement for placemaking projects.
- Develop outreach strategies and draft engagement/communication plans.
- Plan, manage, and facilitate physical and online engagement processes.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our Indigenous Engagement practice.
- Network and build relationships with current and prospective clients and other strategic contacts.
- Represent our practice/projects at conferences or other events.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3-10 years of experience in planning, urban design, or applied professions.
- Eligible for Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation.
- An accredited degree in Urban Planning; a master's degree is an asset.
- IAP2 certification is an asset.
- Familiarity with provincial planning legislation and the development approval process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
