About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at JS Romana Landscaping as a Landscape Maintenance Worker. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut and maintain grass, as well as rake and collect refuse.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
  • Perform tasks such as laying sod or seed, and watering and tending to plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and in wet/damp conditions.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Maintenance Worker, you will be working in a variety of outdoor settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and crouching.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, organized, and team player.
