We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Lab Planner to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing laboratory planning strategies and providing technical design and detailing decisions that align with project goals.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with clients, scientists, researchers, and end-users to develop laboratory planning strategies at all levels of detail.
- Offer creative laboratory planning, technical design, and detailing decisions that consider cost, construction, sustainability, and other factors.
- Provide or follow verbal and written instructions to revise, develop, and produce plans, elevations, and details.
- Direct document production in accordance with project-specific checklists, AECOM standards, and QA/QC standards.
- Promote firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability.
- Manage and deliver laboratory projects from initial planning through construction.
- Develop and implement market-driven business strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with AECOM service offerings and industry trends.
- Manage a team of staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Support the development of conference topics, client presentations, and proposal development.
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of a University Degree in a related field of study and at least six years of relevant experience in laboratory planning.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in laboratory planning and design.
- LEED AP Neighborhood accreditation or willingness to obtain within one year.
- PMP certification or willingness to obtain.
