Kitchen Operations Manager

Astoria Shish Kebob House Vaughan Ltd. is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Food Safety and Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality in the kitchen, including proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers, newcomers, and refugees.
- Support for Veterans: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
- Work Language: English
