About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation and portioning
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
  • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates
  • Address customer complaints and concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Standing for extended periods
