Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Nursing Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our scheduling department, you will be responsible for coordinating staffing replacements, maintaining scheduling and attendance records, and providing exceptional customer service to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily and weekly staffing replacements in collaboration with nursing managers and coordinators.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling and attendance records using computerized scheduling programs.
  • Provide support to nursing staff by answering inquiries and resolving issues related to contract benefits, complaints, and pay statements.
  • Promote good public relations between the nursing department, nursing units, and other clinic departments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in personal computers, ESP, and word processing software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of collective agreements and agency contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of computer scheduling programs.
