Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the team responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards related to IT security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate audit processes in collaboration with various IT departments to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Direct compliance initiatives and evaluate documentation in accordance with regulatory and internal audit protocols.
  • Organize and manage assessments that evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of IT controls, working closely with internal compliance teams, stakeholders, external auditors, and third-party entities.
  • Examine documentation pertaining to IT governance and ensure proper execution of controls, including risk management matrices, process descriptions, flowcharts, and testing plans.
  • Deliver training and mentorship to the internal compliance team to enhance their capabilities.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to improve and strengthen IT governance controls as necessary.
  • Assist in new initiatives by identifying control gaps, implementing necessary measures, and assessing the effectiveness of these controls.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in consulting roles within audit functions for publicly traded organizations across various regions.
  • Exceptional communication skills: ability to articulate viewpoints effectively and garner support, balancing technical insights with business needs.
  • Capability to identify potential risks and propose cost-effective control measures.
  • Proven project management skills and experience in leading and coordinating teams.
