Senior Advisor Regulatory Governance Expert

About the RoleAs a Senior Advisor Regulatory Governance, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on risk management regulations and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) team to develop and implement risk management frameworks that align with regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on risk management regulations and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks that align with regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate and ensure the completion of initiatives aimed at attesting the compliance of risk management frameworks with applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Represent the Bank to various agencies and bodies, including regulatory authorities, industry, and other stakeholders.
- Produce executive reporting to senior management as required.
You will be part of the Strategy and Risk team, composed of twelve colleagues, and report to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Governance and Living Wills. Our team's mission is to be a center of regulation expertise supporting the IRM sector in the governance of risk management frameworks and to maintain the Bank's financial crisis management program – Living Wills.
Requirements- Industry-related bachelor's degree and 6 to 8 years of relevant experience OR industry-related master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in risk management or regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to ensure effective coordination and partnership in multi-stakeholder mandates.
- Demonstrated strong skills with respect to influence, communication, and writing.
- Good knowledge of the regulations applicable to banks (OSFI).
