Brandt is seeking a Procurement Strategy Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in facilitating Strategic Sourcing initiatives that encompass data oversight, order processing, pricing management, and inventory control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and assess product options
- Establish and enforce supplier contracts
- Oversee First Article sample requests
- Collaborate in the transition of MFG to PURC components, liaising with Supply Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, PDM, and other departments
- Organize supplier evaluations
- Cultivate supplier partnerships to meet Brandt's diverse material requirements
- Remain informed about the needs of internal and external clients
- Analyze global commodity pricing trends
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to minimize input costs for current products
- Secure optimal value for inputs in new product innovations
- Provide insights on cutting-edge products or alternatives available in the market
- Perform additional tasks as required

Essential Skills:
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Essential Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience.
- Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Preferred professional certification in Supply Chain or Procurement (SCMA).
- Significant experience with ERP systems.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
