We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner Assistant to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- Assist with nursing activities, such as vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Current enrollment in an approved nursing education program leading to initial entry to practice as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- Successful completion of the third year or enrolled in third year with a minimum of 450 hours of clinical practice in an approved nursing education program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
