About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at EAZYFOODS Inc. as a Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits administration, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
