Restaurant Operations Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Restaurant Operations to join our team at Mary Brown's Chicken. As an Assistant Manager Restaurant Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed
- Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and inventory management
- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Supervise staff and provide guidance on customer service and food quality
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Organize and maintain inventory, including food and supplies
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Leading/instructing individuals and addressing customer complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Parking available
