We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will play a crucial role in providing financial analysis and planning support to our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Financial Analysis
    • Consolidate and communicate daily financial results to senior management
    • Liaise with stakeholders to understand business drivers and issues
  • Risk and Capital Management
    • Track and analyze RWA variances against budgets and forecasts
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather RWA-related data
    • Understand regulatory trends impacting RWA production
  • Financial Reporting and Budgeting
    • Assist in preparing regular financial reports, including variance analysis and KPIs
    • Contribute to creating insightful presentations for senior management
  • Process Improvement
    • Participate in enhancing FP&A processes and tools to drive efficiency and accuracy
    • Suggest and implement improvements to reporting formats and data collection methods
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of banking industry regulations and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel and other relevant tools
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Language

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
