Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at TBAAR Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Present menus to guests and make recommendations on food and beverage options
    • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner
    • Ensure accurate and efficient delivery of food and beverages to guests
  • Table Management
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
    • Manage table assignments and ensure efficient seating of guests
  • Cash Handling and Point of Sale
    • Process payments and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently
    • Operate point of sale system to manage orders and inventory
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service
    • Communicate effectively with guests and team members to resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • Previous experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment an asset
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
