Job Summary

Chettinad Dosa Palace is seeking a skilled Server to join our team in providing exceptional food and beverage services to our customers. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Present menus to customers and make recommendations on food and beverage pairings.
    • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are served at the correct temperature and presentation.
  • Customer Service
    • Greet customers and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware.
    • Perform sensory evaluation of wines to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled promptly.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food and beverage service role.
