Sunfarm Produce and Groceries is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure the smooth operation of our financial systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of accounting software and systems, and contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities:**

* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Post journal entries
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Prepare tax returns
* Reconcile accounts

**Requirements:**

* 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Proficiency in accounting software and systems
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
