We are seeking a Clinical Nursing Manager to oversee our operations in the Peel region, which includes Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon , and Bolton. The Clinical Nursing Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the clinical, educational, and professional growth of our Visiting and Clinic Nurses. This role includes participation in an on-call rotation.

Role Responsibilities

Serve as a professional role model, mentor, and change agent for staff by showcasing clinical expertise and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Assess appropriate staffing levels to ensure referral acceptance metrics align with funder requirements. Provide clinical leadership and guidance to ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with professional nursing standards and established policies. Conduct supervisory visits with nursing personnel to evaluate care and service, offering constructive feedback, coaching, and mentorship. Participate in the recruitment and orientation of new staff members. Oversee performance management of nursing staff, including conducting performance evaluations and implementing progressive discipline when necessary. Complete case reviews to support the appropriate frequency of care and nursing capacity. Engage with patients and the nursing team using a collaborative approach, fostering rapport and trust to identify actual and potential healthcare needs, strengths, capacities, and goals.

Required Qualifications

Current registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing; a degree is preferred. Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. A minimum of three (3) years of recent experience in a Nursing Supervisor/Manager role, ideally within a community setting. Strong understanding of community nursing principles, practices, and patient service delivery. Current CPR certification.
