We are seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee our operations in the Peel region, which includes Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and Bolton. The Nursing Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing the clinical, educational, and professional growth of our Visiting and Clinic Nurses. This role includes participation in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as a professional role model, mentor, and change agent for staff by showcasing clinical expertise and ongoing professional development.
- Assess appropriate staffing levels to maintain referral acceptance metrics as established by funding sources.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to ensure patient care aligns with professional nursing standards and adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
- Conduct supervisory visits with nursing personnel to evaluate care and services, offering constructive feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
- Participate in the recruitment and orientation of new staff members.
- Oversee performance management of nursing staff, including conducting performance evaluations and implementing progressive discipline when necessary.
- Complete case reviews to ensure appropriate care frequency and nursing capacity.
- Engage with patients and the nursing team collaboratively, fostering rapport and trust to identify actual and potential healthcare needs, strengths, capacities, and goals.
- Current registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing; a degree is preferred.
- Possession of a valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent experience in a Nursing Supervisor/Manager role, ideally within a community setting.
- Strong understanding of community nursing principles, practices, and service delivery to patients.
- Current CPR certification.
