Job Title: Licensed HVAC Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed HVAC Technician to join our team at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the installation of new equipment, rebuilding and repairing existing equipment, and maintaining accurate service records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation of new HVAC equipment
  • Rebuild and repair existing equipment as specified
  • Maintain accurate service records and logs
  • Make recommendations for improvements, modifications, and upgrades
  • Assist with major overhauls, modifications, and alterations
  • Ensure the safe operation of each work area and project
  • Assist with general cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of equipment
  • Responsible for executing the preventative maintenance program
  • Assist with seasonal staff as required
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field coupled with a Refrigeration License (HVAC)
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a related field
  • Gas Fitter level One (Asset)
  • Gas Fitter level Two (Mandatory)
  • Valid Ontario driver's license
  • Past experience in a diverse and comparable environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proven skills with food service equipment installation and repairs
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and work with deadlines
  • Ownership of tools and safety boots is a must
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
  • Required to meet the physical demands of the job, including weights of up to 23kg, heights of 106m, frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crawling, and ability to work with ladders
