Job Summary

Cedar Fair Entertainment Company is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems in our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Install and repair HVAC systems, including refrigeration and gas equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as HVAC technology or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Refrigeration license (HVAC) and Gas Fitter level One and Two certifications
  • Valid Ontario driver's license
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and weather conditions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
