Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Specialist to join our team at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating and cooling equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure systems are functioning properly
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the life of equipment
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as HVAC technology or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance
  • Refrigeration license (HVAC) and Gas Fitter level One and Two certifications
  • Valid Ontario driver's license
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
