Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and efficient operations.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week
