Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Memorial Cafe Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and records
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure smooth service
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet the needs of our customers
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and commitments
